They don't sell these at every five & dime in town. Team up with these independent brands and artists to get hyped for the shriekquel of your nightmares.
Mindless Self Indulgence
Accessories and decor worthy of losing your head over.
Hallowscents
If you're not afraid of a shower scene, check out Hallowscents' delectable range of horror-themed toiletries. Their limited iScream range can be bought as either a set or as individual items, and all of 'em will have you smelling fresh as a blood-soaked daisy after your back-to-back Scream 1-4 marathon. Your cinema compatriots will thank you.
Clumsy Wizard Art
If fine art is your bag, it doesn't get much finer than the spooky pastel offerings from Clumsy Wizard Art. I adore the dramatic use of electric pink in her Ghostface prints, and if you do too then you can collect the whole set with a matching Freddy, Michael, or Jason to boot. Perfect anti-Valentine's gift for yourself, because us final girls gotta keep it PG(13).
PinkPandemonium
From glitzy keychains to stickers and T-shirts, PinkPandemonium's etsy store is a treasure trove of pop-arty horror to adorn the most glamourous Scream queens. I'm insanely excited for their Ghostface earrings and greeting cards to drop later this month. Now who could hang up on those little guys??
Dress to distress
(Because yes, you really do need another hoodie)
Kleaver Klothing
I may be biased, but Kleaver once again is determined to part you from your money with this insane range of Scream apparel. Beanies, t-shirts, zipped hoodies and pullovers, even a shower curtain...be still my torn-out heart.
Serial thrillers
Assorted bits n' pieces I've been dying to share...'
Survive the Scream House (Browser game)
*le gasp*. Has Paramount resurrected the interactive movie advert with a simple flash player-esque minigame?
If you've already checked out my article on the heydey of horror-themed browser games, you'll understand how gleeful I was when I discovered that Scream (2022) is harkening back to the good ole days with a point & click browser escapade of its own. Traverse the legendary Prescott home, answer Ghostface's Scream trivia, and do your best to save Sidney (and yourself) from ending up like Drew Barrymore. Be careful- you're working to a deadline here.
Your Number's Up (Orchestral)
Me? Talking about Ice Nine Kills again?
Well, duh.
The theatricore kingpins' 2018 banger Your Number's Up has been given the orchestral treatment, making your desperate attempts at screaming along just that much more dramatic.
Don't be fooled- INK aren't just any horror metal band. They're diehard fans of the genre who make music for likeminded Psychos, and the passion for their craft is unmistakable. How many bands do you know of who get their songs transposed to be played in a full orchestral arrangement, sit on it for four years, and then launch it just in time for the corresponding movie it pays homage to?
Precisely.
Podcast of the Damned (Scream 1996 / Scream minisode)
Spooky Scottish lads Ian and Nico are on a mission to create a comprehensive horror movie leader board, reviewing a different film each episode and giving their hilarious takes on why or why not it deserves the hype.
As an avid listener for months now, I've been giving Podcast of the Damned's Scream episode another spin to get stoked for the new film.
Why did everyone lose their shit when Drew Barrymore was killed off at the beginning? Has the Scary Movie franchise taken all the horror out of it? And of course, will we ever decide which sequel is actually the best?
(hint: Scream 4. Always.)
Scream should be showing in all cinemas by now...unless you're here in Hong Kong. Spare a prayer for us please.
